PBX1 Custom Break Shaft

The PBX1 combines the beauty of purple heart wood with the energy transfer of a carbon core and ferrule to deliver an explosive impact on the break. The 4 mm carbon core extends through the ferrule and into a recess in the base of the hard layered tip. Be sure your cuemaker understands this before ever changing the tip. This operation must be done on a lathe, so the carbon tenon does not get removed along with the tip. Replace your current break shaft and give it a try.
